Abstract

This paper focuses on the design and implementation of a smart NFC-based hotel room access control system to make changes in the conventional physical key and key card systems. The system also uses NFC technology to enable guest to unlock doors of their rooms using NFC smart phones and this makes the process very contactless, efficient and environmentally friendly. It does all that for the convenience of your guests while at the same time aiming at solving key problems like security, operations, and environmental factors with physical keys and plastic cards.
