Abstract
Voteguard – Secure Voting System is a decentralised voting platform that ensures the integrity, security, and transparency of the election process using highly advanced encryption technologies. The technology allows election administrators and organisers to easily set up and manage elections with the definition of specifications of an election and registering voters in a safe manner before the start. Since every vote is registered with complete accuracy and cannot be changed, the election process remains accurate and authentic owing to the immutability of the ledger in secure technology. This way, voters can cast votes in an independent manner and remain safe in the knowledge that the system itself is working to protect their choices through powerful cryptographic processes via a simple and secure interface. The Voteguard system protects any Malaysian organisation, institution, or community with its approach to voting by using sophisticated encryption and authentication technology, thus handling major threats of elections like fraud, vote tampering and unauthorised access. The main goal of this project is to transform the existing current voting processes with its scalable, effective and secure system that preserves democracy in any election’s scale.
