Abstract

According to Islam, education is a high-standing institution. The God's revelation brought by Muhammad has transformed Islam as a great force to universal human civilization, covering all aspects of human life. Based on those circumstances, this paper wished to explain combination of manners and learning style in a smart environment, using Imam Al-Ghazali's approach, which emphasizes the self-approach to Allah SWT, "Al-TqarrubIlallah". This research focusing on smart environment manners and learning styles. Researchers have already identified in previous studies that there are no longer mobile applications that follow certain good practice models or standard procedures, especially at KUPTM. The application of the M-learning approach takes into account the weaknesses of conventional learning systems. The objectives of this research is to introduce the concept of Imam Al-Ghazali approach and a good practice smart learning model. Then this studies also focused on discussion related to educators' manners for Islam, and lists the standards or obligations and responsibilities of students in the process of delivering knowledge, followed by their manners and obligations. In addition, the concept of education based on Imam Al-Ghazali definition and a model of the Islamic education philosophy, including various responsibilities and moral development. This research also suggest a mobile application (Smart Learning & Reminders App) as an innovation project. The entire research will use qualitative methodology to develop the Smart Learning & Reminders App to enhance the development of local culture today as well as technical changes of teaching and learning process especially to address the situation the COVID-19 pandemic that is sweeping the world today.
