Abstract

MARIC serves as an important platform to facilitate the growth of knowledge through the exchange of ideas and exposure of research. As the country steps up to the challenges of the 21st Century, collaborations between the various academic and industrial bodies are crucial in spurring the advancement of research and development. This is pivotal in ensuring that Malaysia remains a competitive player on the global stage. Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) encourages the expansion of events like MARIC that serves to facilitate the output of research and innovation in the country and at the same time inculcate a research culture among the nation’s academics. On that note, I convey my gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to everyone involved in organizing MARIC 2019. Congratulations to Kolej Universiti Poly-Tech MARA, its collaborators and sponsors for making this event a resounding success.
